Rainbow 6 Siege goes pro and it’s about time.

Rainbow 6  Siege, one of the best tactical shooters around, gets it’s own pro league and tournaments? Shocker! For the tourneys, from the official website:

Participate in Starting February 7th, you will be able to participate in the weekly Go4R6 competitions for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six on Xbox One or PC in Europe and North America. The top eight teams in the Go4R6 monthly rankings will be invited to face-off in the monthly final competition.

MONEY. Now that I’ve got your attention, here is how to win some:

$100 for the best team in each weekly Go4R6, per Region, per Platform.

$500 split between the top two teams in the monthly Go4R6 final, per Region, per Platform.

The top teams in the Go4R6 monthly rankings on the February the 22nd will also have the chance to play in the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League.

Beginning in March 2016, the top eight teams from North America and Europe on Xbox One and PC will be invited to compete in a multi-week tournament Season.

The top two placing teams from North America and Europe on Xbox One and PC will be invited to travel and compete at the Season Finals, with the victor claiming the title of Season Champions.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Siege Pro League is open to all players above 18 years old playing on the European and North American Servers on Xbox One or PC* that qualify via either of these two ways:

  • Option 1: Be among the top teams in Go4R6 monthly rankings on February the 22nd on the European and North American Servers on Xbox One or PC
  • Option 2: Join some of the local competitions with access to the Pro League.

Age and Regional restrictions may apply- probably meaning you have to be in North America or Europe and be 18 years of age or older-.
