Remember that time when the Square label equaled incomparable quality? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

A lot of announcements were made by Square Enix as their contribution to yesterday’s E3 2015 press conferences.

Products like Kindgom Hearts 3, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, were showcased along many, many more.

Here’s a summary of all the biggest news and announcements during the conference:

Just Cause 3

An action-fueled trailer for Just Cause 3 debuted on the conference. Avalanche Studios took to the stage to confirm that the game will be available in North America on December 1, 2015. The adventures of Special Operative Rico Rodríguez continue on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. A hands-on trailer was also shown explaining the new features of the game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Lara Croft, our favorite grave-robber is back. Brian Horton of Crystal Dynamics took to the stage and showed us a cinematic trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider that also reveals behind-the-scenes details for the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

We take another trip through the mythical land of Midgard with Cloud Strife and his buddies. The same Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer from the Sony E3 2015 press conference was shown again. More details will be revealed during the winter. Also, the port of the original Final Fantasy VII that was previously announced for the PS4 will be coming sometime this summer. An iOS version will also be released during this Winter.

World Of Final Fantasy

Last night’s World of Final Fantasy from the Sony E3 2015 press conference was shown once more. It’s going to be on PS4 and PS Vita first, and will release in 2016.

Kingdom Hearts 3

Our favorite crossover RPG is back. Kingdom Hearts 3 gets new gameplay footage. It features Sora and friends fighting off Heartless in a variety of different stages.


IO Interactive revealed a gameplay trailer for the new Agent 47 game. This new trailer for Hitman goes over the process of an assassination contract. The game is confirmed to release on December 8, 2015.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

In the future there will be augmented humans. Square Enix Montreal showcased a gameplay trailer of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It is set to release in early 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Nier 2

Not many of us were expecting this one. A sequel to NIER was announced. It is being directed by Yosuke Saito with development duties handled by Platinum Games.

Lara Croft Go

Can’t get enough Lara Croft? Buffing up their mobile game library, Square Enix revealed Lara Croft Go. The game will feature turn-based gameplay and will release on phones and tablets.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained

The mobile title Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key will be receiving a North American release. Its story is a tie-in for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, previously announced in Japan, will also be getting North American and European release in 2016 as a PS4 exclusive. A new gameplay trailer was also shown as well.

Final Fantasy Portable App

Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy Portable App. Besides that, no other details were revealed on the nature of the app.

Project Setsuna

A new studio called Tokyo RPG Factory was revealed. The studio is committed to making new RPGs for Square Enix. An all-new RPG tentatively titled Project Setsuna was announced to be in development by them. It will release in 2016.
